Gee That's Fake

This one is really annoying, you look through your emails, and you get a bunch of emails saying you’ve won something.

In Australia, the emails would be claiming to be from places like Bunnings, Woolworths, Coles or BCF.

You will get emails about free spins and other things as well.

About four out of every five them of them go straight to spam but some do get through even if you do have Avast or other anti-virus helping to screen emails.

If you use Mail on an iPad, it can help you tell what is fake by showing you a couple of lines.

Check out ‘Chemist Warehouse’ in the photo above, you see a website, but it is not Chemist Warehouse, if you see a site that doesn’t match a brand like Chemist Warehouse then you know it is fake.

So, there you have it, fake emails that can have disastrous consequences if you use the links on them.
