Poor Maddison Inglis and Iga Swiatek, the latest targets of fake reporting, after their fourth-round match at the Australian Open.
Iga Swiatek won the match 6-0 6-3, a result most were expecting if not more lopsided.

There was no begging for forgiveness from Maddison, and she wasn’t seen as Australia’s failure for not beating Iga.
Some people may have been unhappy that Naomi Osaka was injured and had to forfeit the third round against Maddison but that’s sport, some people aren’t going to come up good for a match and while Swiatek vs. Osaka fourth round match would have sounded good to fans and TV networks; it wasn’t to be.
People really have to be cautious about what they are reading, they fake accounts are getting smarter, but they can’t beat people who read it slowly and wonder did it really happen? then they go looking for the answer.
